Ingredients
- 1.5 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup butter or oil
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- Flavor additions such as cocoa, fruit zest, or sprinkles
Method
1) Heat oven to 350°F and line a muffin tin.
2) Stir together dry ingredients.
3) Beat wet ingredients until smooth.
4) Combine wet and dry, divide into cups, and bake until just set.
5) Cool and frost if desired.
Tips
- Fill cups about two-thirds full.
- Cool completely before piping frosting.
