Recipe: Olive Oil Banana Walnut Oatmeal

Serves 4 | ~15 minutes | Oats, fruit, nuts, and a little olive oil make a warm Mediterranean-style breakfast.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 4 cups water or milk
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch salt
Method
1) Bring water or milk to a simmer.
2) Stir in oats and salt and cook until creamy.
3) Top with bananas, walnuts, olive oil, and cinnamon.
Tips
- Add berries for more fruit.
- Use steel-cut oats for a chewier texture.
