Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup melted butter (or neutral oil)
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread
Method
1) Heat oven to 350°F. Grease and line a 9x5 loaf pan.
2) Whisk bananas, sugars, eggs, butter, yogurt, vanilla until smooth.
3) Fold in flour, baking soda, salt until just combined.
4) Pour half the batter into pan. Warm the hazelnut spread slightly; dollop half over batter. Swirl lightly. Add remaining batter and swirl remaining spread on top.
5) Bake 50–60 minutes until a tester comes out with a few moist crumbs. Tent with foil if browning too fast.
6) Cool 15 minutes, then turn out. Slice when mostly cool for clean cuts.
